Daniel the Tourette's Engine pulls troublesome freight cars up a hill. This drawing could've been better in the shading department, but I wanted to get the new "Derek" story out ASAP.

Anybody notice how new stories for Derek seem to take a long time to appear following the previous story?

My Thomas YTP from 2017 strikes again, with notable references including the lengthy, deliberately repetitive gag about the freight cars and the ending "advertisement" sequence.

Daniel's number, 2007, is a reference to when the first official Tourette's Guy videos appeared on YouTube, although the creators have been making TG videos since 2000.

The main image, seen above, perhaps could've used some thicker outlines and/or most definitely different shading, particularly on the top of Daniel. But I wanted to get a new Derek story out ASAP, as well as quickly updating the site with something new, since the last one in general was in August.

The sky/clouds, however, look much nicer than in previous Derek illustrations, and they almost look like the ones actually seen on Thomas.
